Awards are not always products of our hard work while prizes are usually recognition of an outstanding performance in a particular event. The St Francis College Literary Prize is not a writing contest for the sake of the event but is open to any author around that globe that are on their mid-career, writing their third to the fifth book of fiction. Although the nomination is open to basically anybody in the world, but the language of the book or novel fiction must be in the English language. St. Francis College Literary Prize is a bi-annual literary award event inaugurated in 2009. The prize package of USD $50,000 will be presented to the winning author during the Brooklyn Book Festival every other year in September. This award is meant to offer encouragement and significant financial support to a mid-career writer.
