The Sequencing & Target Validation Program Research Associate will be a member of the team charged with taking novel findings from the company’s platform and translating them into drug discovery programs. Candidates should be highly motivated with previous experience in molecular biology and in vitro assays. Successful candidates must be able to work effectively both in a collaborative setting and independently while possessing outstanding written, visual and oral communications skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Imaging using light & fluorescent microscopy
- Biochemical analysis of primary and cultured cells
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or similar field
- Research laboratory experience, preferably in a cell biology environment
Additional preferred experience includes:
- Bulk-sequencing & single-cell sequencing
- Flow cytometry
- Histology
- Experience with primary cells, particularly intestinal or neural cell types
