
Applications are invited for a University Lectureship in Healthcare Systems. The successful candidate will join the Mechanics, Materials and Design Division to add to its broad expertise in Bioengineering. We encourage applicants who will strengthen our current research activities in the understanding and use of an engineering systems approach to health and care design and continuous improvement, and the acquisition and integrated use of healthcare data and patient information, located in the Engineering Design Centre. The ideal candidate will work in healthcare systems with a background in engineering, computer science, cognitive science or clinical science with direct experience of health and care systems and/or public health.
In exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to offer a supplement to the salary range stated for this role of up to 11%, £5500, for a five year period. Any such supplement would be awarded on the basis of a demonstrable history of exceptional achievement and is entirely at the discretion of the University.
